Freedom of Speech and The True Cost of Socialism

Free Speech Is Under Attack…Again.

And it may just need all of us conservatives to finally get up, and take a stand, in order to save the future of the Country we know and love.

Remember when your liberal friends wouldn’t really bring up those uncomfortable conversations about important subjects? Things like Religion, Gun Rights, Socialism, Communism, or Abortion, at family reunions or in public conversations?

Okay, yeah me either…

But we, as conservatives, traditionally, have been known for staying silent, for trying to “keep the peace.” So we don’t usually talk openly about such things…except to those we knew who have the same moral code of values and point of view as we do, but now…

…We Must!

The Socialists (Fascists really) have reared their ugly heads once again, hoping to silence you, even shout you down, to keep you from sharing your point of view. They even say they are Anti-Facism, because they associate facism with racism, and don’t really understand its full meaning.

And, in order to “Shut You Up”, they are willing to do whatever it takes…

…are you?

There have been many recent examples of our Free Speech coming under attack from the very liberals who once fought for the free and open exchange of ideas; and who are now protesting, (even rioting,) to make sure that those ideas they don’t agree with are never heard.

Just like they did to conservitive Ben Shapiro, when they rioted and nearly burnt down the college campus at UC Berkly:

It happened again, when violence broke out the very next year, at a counter protest at UC Berkly.

We have all seen example after example of the violence from the left, all in an attempt to shut down Free Speech.

The latest examples of liberals “off the hook”, and trying to stifle other’s Freedom of Speech are the “MAGA Hat Madness” incidents. Where people are being harrassed and even assulted for wearing the famous red Make America Great Again hats.

They are even going so far as to collect and burn these hats, in hatred of President Trump and the Conservative message.

The latest was of course the “Sandman-Phillips confrontation; which started out with 4 racist black men, (calling themselves the “Black Hebrew Israelites,”) harrassing teangers wearing their MAGA hats waiting for the buss home. And it ended with Phillips, (a native american man), approching the boys, pounding his tribal drum in Sandman’s face while loudly chanting. We have all seen the Facebook posts and news stories.

A highly edited video of the confrontation went viral and every ultra left person and liberal media outlet jumped on the bandwagon.

Leavimg Sandman with no recourse and no way to defend his honor or mount any kind of sufficiant defence. His family even recieved death threats over the incident. Even after new video evidence came out proving the teens version of events, the liberals doubled down disparaging and degrading this poor kid and protesting against his school and classmates.

I have seen posts from the far-left and some maimstream liberals, encouraging people to rip the MAGA hats off of anyone who wears them. They are also calling for violence and harrassment of any other conservitives.

They riot and protest against, and shout down conservative speakers. And rally for the death of Conservitism and Capitalism, pushing for the exchange of Big Government Socialism in its place.

Some ultra-left liberals even say they would rather see Communism then the “unfair” practices of the current Government and economic system. And that point of view is gathering steam.

But what would happen if Free Speech was killed, along with the other God given rights we have, and the Socialists actually took over our government?

I am reminded that a few Chinese people wanted to have freedom of speech. And so… their government ran them over with tanks.

We are now trotting down this very road where speech is a hate crime and the punishment is violence.

To paraphrase:

The people wanted reform from a socialist government. The military shot them, and ran them over with tanks.

On the night of June 3–4, tanks and heavily armed troops advanced toward Tiananmen Square, opening fire on or crushing those who again tried to block their way. The Chinese government arrested thousands of suspected dissidents; many of them received prison sentences of varying lengths of time, and a number were executed.

The government’s count of those killed was 241 (including soldiers), with some 7,000 wounded; most other estimates have put the death toll much higher. In the years since the incident, the government generally has attempted to suppress references to it.

Public commemoration of the incident is officially banned.

In a nutshell: The people spoke, the government didn’t like what they heard and murdered them. Then the government suppressed the truth.

Freedom of speech is shut down and suppressed by a socialist government.

Socialism can only be maintained by government control, by force, not by the free will of the people. Please remember this the next time you see a socialist post about the bennifits of Big Government control.

This may seem like a rare event and you may think it would never happen here. But thats what every free person says before Socialism takes hold. It has happened over and over again throuout human history and even in our recent past; Stalin did even worse in the USSR. As did Castro in Cuba.

So now is the time to Stand our Ground. To refuse to let this dangerous ideological trend continue.

We must have those uncomfortable conversations. We must be prepared by knowing the facts and learning our history. We must not be silent any longer.

We cannot let our voices be muffled by the violent extreamists on the left…enough is enough…
