Proposed Bill To End Big Tech Political Censorship; Free Speech Platform vs. A Publisher’s Platform

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has proposed a Bill to end Big Tech Government protection, when they show political bias or censorship of a political speech or a particular political ideology. This could be it folks.

Big Tech Companies, like Facebook, Google, Twitter and YouTube have been censoring and banning anyone who does not agree with their political point of view, we have talked about this ad nausium.

And now, we just had one of our Co-Founders, Tammy Seymour Dillingham, banned from Facebook for 30 days, for calling someone “disgusting” after that person said she hoped the Trumps would be Killed by Hurricane Dorian…

…what Tammy said was not only true, but is protected speech under the constitutions 1st amendment.

Facebook however banned Tammy under what they said was a breech of their “Community Guidlines…funny though that the person who called for the death of our President and his family, had no punnishment or repercussions…she is still spreading hate around facebook to this day.

Facebook, Twitter, Google, and YouTube have worked hard respectively to shut down conservative voises on the right; from biased and skewed search resaults, and news feeds, to all out bannishment.

They have permanently banned mainstream Conservitive voices and far Right-Wing commentators, like Facebook’s ban of controversial speaker Milo Yiannopoulos; even going as far as Removing a Page that supported him after his ban.

And Every major Social Media platform, who all claim to be platforms for “Free Speech”, have banned “The King of Conspiracy Theories,” Alex Jones, along with Laura Loomer and many many others.

The Proposed Bill:

So what is the difference between a free speech platform, and a Publisher’s platform?

We all know that the first amendment protects our free speech from Government tyranny, We can climb up onto our soapbox and scream the truth to anyone who will listen…and on a free speech platform, we get to speak that truth no matter who believes in our point of view or who doesn’t. But how does that pertain to businesses such as Social Media websites?

Becase of our right to free speech, there is special protection given by the Government that let’s you run ou”Free Speech” platform, without worry of a lawsuit or any punishment or repercussions, for anything someone says on your platform.

Right now, as our laws read, The Government Protects “Free Speech” platforms from litigation and responsibility for the things posted or said on their websites. Facebook, Google, YouTube and Twitter all claim to be “Free Speech” platforms with completely umbiased ideologies, that have enjoyed this Government protection, since each site was founded.

However, Private Businesses and Companies and Websites, that are Considered “Publishers,” do not get such protections from the Government. And they are absolutely responsible for everything published on their sites…but, they then also get the freedom to be a biased and exclusive as they want to be.

You. Can either be a “Free Speech” platform, or, you can be a private “Publisher”…

..But You Can’t Be Both!

YouTube has Demonitized tons of Videos from conservitives Like Steven Crowder, trying to distroy his livelyhood by distroyoing his income.

And they have Restricted more than 200 videos from PragerU, a conservitive organization committed to teaching people, truth, facts, history and conservitive and family values, through 5 minute videos featuring experts in particular fields, professors, politicians and other respected people.

There is a Major Lawsuit, happening right now, filed by PragerU, because of it. The restricted videos include subjects such as The 10 Commandments; where YouTube said the that because the video talked about Murder, it violated their rules and had to be restricted. Dennis Prager founder of PragerU, said in half jest, “I guess we could re-release the video as “The 9 Commandments!”

Because of the restrictions, no one who has settings restricting things such as Swear words, Bad Language, violence or Pornigraphy, are unable to see any of the PragerU learning series videos.

Libraries, Schools, and such places cannot view these important videos and therfore are only seeing the world from a leftist ideological viewpoint. And that is the real goal…leftist propaganda and brainwashing of our youth.

Google has been underfire a lot recently especially after a whistleblower insider from Google came forward with documents proving their political bias, the existence of conservative “Black Lists” and a concerted effort to , himder, block or flat-out ban anyone right of center and promote progressive leftist voices.

Even an effort by Google executives and their parent company Alphabet inc. to influence our elections…

…such serious accusations that they have been called to appear in front of Congress…

So the fight continues , but we do have warriors on the Right Side, like Senator Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Stephen Crowder, Tucker Carlson, PragerU, and us here @ The Rightway.
