Undercover at the Epicenter of COVID Care

I am a naturally skeptical person, so when I was sent the last of a long line of Facebook post videos about COVID-19, my first thought was, “Oh boy, here’s another one…” so I completly understand if you are so burnt out on this whole mess that you just can’t bring yourself to listen to anything more on the subject.

However, as I began to watch this short documentary it became fairly clear to me that this was not some staged or scripted video. Not another “meme” video full of talking points for one side or the other. This is not of some nutball trying to convince me of some vast conspiracy to make us all believe in the coronavirus pandemic, or of some unheard-of miraculous cure, or treatment.

This appears to be genuine and credible and so I am sharing it here. Without judgment or motivation. And I do believe you need to watch this. It will open your eyes to what it is like in one of the main hospitals that is treating covid patients along with non-covid patients at the epicenter of the US pandemic in New York.

In the video we meet a Nurse, Erin Marie Olszewski, She works in the main public hospital in New York that is treating COVID-19 patients, Elmhurst Hospital in Queens. The Video asks, “Why was Elmhurst hit so bad?” Having more cases than other hospitals in the US. It also ponders if “ventilators were the right treatment for this disease” as we have all been told they are. It may also explain why there are so many covid deaths reported out of Elmhurst.

Nurse Olszewski brought in a hidden camera with her on her shifts at Elmhurst, to show us the answers to those important questions. What she uncovers for us, is incredible, unnerving and flat out scary and enraging. She is risking her career and livelihood and maybe even her freedom to make this video, be a whistleblower, and to share what she has seen.
