California Officials: Robbing Us Of Our Inalienable Rights
This newest red flag law that California has implemented is not only a blatant violation of due process, but a way to dismantle our 2nd Amendment rights.
It’s either seriously naive, or an insidious attempt to make us more vulnerable.
California has ensured that when an angry ex-husband, dreaded groping uncle, or jilted ex-live-in boyfriend —and now even some psycho obsessed co-worker who has already stolen a pair of your panties from your bedroom when you were away, and now keeps them in his desk’s bottom drawer to fondle whenever you leave the office —has the upper hand.
With this red flag law, when such an obsessed and deranged coworker wants to break into your home to rape or otherwise harm you, he needs only to first make a complaint and have your 2nd Amendment rights suspended, effectively leaving you unable to defend yourself when he makes his move.
As someone who’s been stalked before: No, thank you.
“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” —Benjamin Franklin
I agree we need to be safe, but not by violating our rights. And not by taking away —without due process—what, to many women, is their only means of self defense.
What our governor is doing puts us on a very slippery slope, one that is a danger to the rights and freedoms of every California citizen. And, is especially dangerous for women.
California makes many illegal laws. Take, for instance, California officials mandating that California should decide federal election laws by not allowing a candidate for president to run unless he or she has given up their right to privacy by initiating forced tax-return disclosures.
It’s as if our California legislators sit around and try to come up with ways to whittle away at our Constitutional rights, and sometimes slicing directly into them. California has become a dictatorship where our inalienable rights mean nothing, a state where our so called “leaders” feel they should have more say and sway than our US Constitution, and certainly more than we, the people, have.
Perhaps the only red flag laws we need should be be directed at our California legislators. And, we wouldn’t need to take their guns away…just a few weeks of their freedom while they undergo psychological evaluations to determine if they have the capacity to comprehend the US Constitution, are capable of understandIng the oath they swore to protect and defend this sacred document, and if they’re mentally fit enough to execute the duties of their office without violating our inalienable rights.
