Finding out how many people in the United States actually have had Covid-19 is closer to becoming a reality.

The truth is, even with the large numbers we are seeing, they are not exactly accurate. The CDC has said that they believe a portion of people have either already had Covid-19, or they are asymptomatic.

There are so many people in this country that STILL do not take this serious, because of the percentages involved. The only way to really get people to understand is to present them with irrefutable proof of just how awful Covid-19 truly is.

That is where this new test comes in. While this is a major step, now we need to see these tests out there quickly, and people getting tested as soon as possible. This will serve several purposes. It can show us who is safe to be out working, and who needs to still stay home. It will explain the immunity that some have, and others are gaining after surviving infection. MOST importantly, it will force people to acknowledge the reality that is Covid-19, and it’s ramifications.

Such a test may help scientists learn how widespread the infection is, and how long people remain immune after recovering.
